you give and you take, you win and you lose, you smile and you frown, you laugh and you cry, you learn and you teach. you will work your ass off and fail, and you will suceed effortlessly. there will be days that never end, and days that end too soon. you will be accepted and rejected and you will accept and reject.the best thing you can do is take the bad with the good, and hope things get better soon. you will have your ups and your downs, but that's why we have our friends and the people we love--we support them, and they support us. once you have that, you are invinsible.

i'm gaby to some, g dawg, gangsta gaby g, g unit, g cubed, gabs, gabster, gabbers, and many more to others. i'm a crazy jew, hence the username. i laugh and smile so so much. i don't have the best voice, but i sing a lot anyways. i'm a musicaholic. i'll listen to almost anything, i love indie music. i am attached to my ipod and my cell phone, and am a text message addict. i went to camp ramah for eight summers, all of which were some of the best times of my life. i am addicted to usy.i like meeting usyers from across the country. i went on eastern europe israel pilgrimage 2006, and it was the best six weeks of my life, and i miss it more than anything. i love sunny but cold weather. i go to shalhevet high school, where we jew it up like no other. i like it a lot of the time, minus the 9.5 hour day. girl scout cookies make me happy. politically, i'm pretty liberal. i really like long, meaningful conversations. my friends are amazing. i live in los angeles--the city, but i spend a lot of time in the lovely san fernando valley. my wall is plastered with pictures. the muffin joke can always make me giggle. i want peace in israel more than anything. i got my braces off in august '05, and i have a hot pink glow in the dark retainer.souplantation is a party. i unwillingly pay for four dollar coffee way too often, because i'm a starbucks addict. i can't go a week without listening to jason mraz. i use the words amazing, awkward, and ridiculous a lot a lot, and get made fun of for it. maybe it's because they describe me? i'm quite the optimist. i talk a lot. people give me new nicknames every couple minutes. i love anything vintage. let's be friends. i'm on both chapter and regional board, and it's a party and a half. i drink diet coke. i love concerts. i find art intriguing. i read a lot because it's relaxing and makes me happy; if that makes me a loser or pretentious, so be it. i'm ambitious and driven. i love nights that you'll never forget. i like knowing that i can do whatever i want to do when i grow up. i think about the future too much. i'm obsessed with 24 and desperate housewives. i dance like nobody's watching even if i'm in a room full of people. i love target. if you left it up to me, every day would be a holiday from real. taboo is the best game in the world, hands down. i love happy memories.

We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying.
